Orange

Overview

Two design routes for a single high-traffic telecom stand.

Two directions were developed in parallel: one built on a continuous curved shell, the other on a stacked orthogonal frame. Both hold the same service counters, queue depth and staff positions.

Because the stand serves walk-up traffic, the graphics are resolved at standing height first — everything above it is architecture.

Process

    01

    Brief & footprint

Stand dimensions, sightlines and visitor flow are resolved before any surface is designed.

    02

    Massing studies

Volumes are blocked out in 3ds Max and tested from the aisle, where the stand is actually read.

    03

    Material & light

Finishes, signage hierarchy and lighting temperature are calibrated in Corona until the render matches the build.

    04

    Final visualisation

Camera set, rendered at print resolution and graded in Photoshop for client and fabrication sign-off.
